Saira Haqqi is a recent graduate from NYU’s Conservation Center, specializing in book conservation. Currently finishing up an internship at Harvard University’s Weissman Preservation Center, she has worked at Quarto Conservation, the Morgan Library & Museum, Columbia University Libraries, the New York Academy of Medicine, and the Library of Congress. She is interested in issues of conservation ethics and outreach within and beyond the field of conservation. She enjoys reading, embroidery, gardening, and cooking, and has decided opinions on what constitutes a decent cup of tea.
